The Kodak – Good to remember

The Kodak: Revolutionizing Photography – 134 Years of Simplicity and Accessibility

KODAK 1889

This scheme shows how The Kodak was revolutionising the photography market 134 years ago and we can appreciate it by its simplicity although, at this very time,  only a few people were able to fully understand the process. But what mesmerises me the most it is how simple and efficient it was to make something complex turn out to become something accessible, portable, and costumer-friendly.

Last month marked the 134th year since this advertisement was published in The Photographic Journal. The Kodak faced challenges in spreading its versatility, but it successfully revolutionized the world of photography. For me, it is always important and good to remember. Specially, the impact it had and the lasting legacy it left behind.

If you want to UNDERSTAND how was the development of The Kodak iconic logo design you will find this blog page from EKATERINA DUNOVSKAIA, a graphic designer, very interesting: “Click here”
